We live and work on the unceded traditional territories of the Coast Salish peoples of the Səlil̓wətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), kʷikʷəƛ̓əm (Kwikwetlem), and xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam) Nations. Only recently have these lands become known as Vancouver & Canada, and the colonial process by which this has occurred has permanently ruptured Indigenous traditions, families, and livelihoods. We reside here as uninvited guests and recognize that it is a privilege to be able to live here as we do now.
